DESCRIPTION:

Cluster flies can usually be found around windows, or around lamps or lights. They are sluggish in their movements in comparison to the house fly. They give off a buckwheat honey odor and leave a greasy spot when crushed.

CONTROL ADVICE:

All vents (roof, overhangs, weepholes, etc.) should be screened with at least 16-mesh screening. Caulk around cable entrances, windows, doors and overhangs to prevent this pest from entering.  We generally treat cluster flies in fall.
